
SERVICE SELECTION BOARD is meant for scrutinizing the candidates minutely to check their physical,mental and psychological fitness for the difficult and tough job of Indian Army.
There are three selection centers -Bhopal,Allahabad and Bangalore for Army.
It includes the various modes to test the candidates.It starts from Screening test which comprises Aptitute Test and Picture Perception and Discussion test.Almost 60-70% of candidates are screened put on the very first day of testing.
Those who are screened in undergo
1-Pshycology test -Word Aperception test(WAT),Thematic Aperception Test(TAT),Situation Reaction Test (SRT),Opinions.
2-GTO(Ground Testing Officer)-Snake Race,Group Task,Progressive Task,Command Task,Half Task,Lecturrete,Group Discussion,Military Planning,Individual Obstacles
3-Interview
These tests take three more days after screening test.
The last day is reserved for Conference Day in which all the officer meet to evalute the candidates performance and reach on the conclusion.
Result is declared on the same day.
